This RAT II CE survival knife from the American company, Ontario Knife Company, is a very large and sturdy knife. The handle is 19 centimetres long and made of micarta, a fibre-reinforced plastic that is very comfortable in the hand and has good grip. The 27 centimetre long spear point blade is made of 5160 steel which is strong and sturdy, but unfortunately not rustproof. However, the blade contains a protective coating to help prevent rusting. The total length of the knife is 43 centimeters and has a weight of 624 grams. A nylon holster comes with this knife so you can easily store and transport the knife. Ontario offers a lifetime warranty for this product.
